What we've done with Club!

Throughout the past two semesters our club has been working on a variety of interesting activities, fundraisers, and presentations. First off our club has gained several awards for our hard work and dedication. At the last Awards Ceremony for Broward College Clubs four of our members gained individual awards for their outstanding leadership, club attendance, good maintenance while still really active in club, and for many others. And the entire club had the honor of receiving an award for Most Outstanding School Event for our Education Symposium. Also we as a club enjoy giving back to the community so we attended The Autism Walk, The Breast Walk, and we had the pleasure of helping repair some parts of our own community in The Day of Caring for Hispanic Unity. Besides helping our community we also try to provide our fellow peers with Technology help by offering workshops in areas that many students don’t know much about. Last semester we provided a workshop on How to use Mac Computers, it was a success and our club members and officers took part in teaching the course to get a feel for what teaching a class is like. Also to further serve our community we encourage our Club members to volunteer at the daycare on Broward College Campus or go to hospitals to visit children who are in need of care and affection. And finally last semester we put together a 20 minute video of everything our club entails and does to a meeting where the President of Broward College attended, it was an honor to be asked to do this because we were the only club presenting what we do for our fellow peers who are going into the field of Education. So till this point this all we have done and we have many upcoming events that are coming up.
